Wacky Wednesday {Santa in March}

The other night we have a lot of running around to do as a family and decided to also treat ourselves to a dinner out.  When heading out the door E decided that he must wear his Santa hat that he dug out of the toy box.  He was very adamant, proclaiming that he must wear it to get ready for Christmas time. I originally said no because there isn't much to the hat and it was freezing out, but when we realized how set he was on wearing it we embraced his wackiness.  So, we paraded our little Santa around the city and at the restaurant, smiling through the stares and double-takes.  Isn't this exactly what being a kid is all about? So much fun!

  1. Love it! DD once wore her super hero mask while shopping. No biggie ;)

  2. I think that's pretty cool. Growing up, my mom would never let me do such a "crazy" thing, but I think it's important that we as parents help our children embrace their creative side. And this is a great way to do it! :)
